Mezzanine

Mezzanine flooring systems are used in a wide range of commercial applications allowing the client to make additional working space within their existing premises.

At 2411 Group we can design & supply mezzanine systems to meet client requirements whilst also offering advice on suitable and appropriate systems based on the client brief. Design and supply can include all hot and cold rolled sections as required.

Systems are designed in accordance with BS EN 1993-1-3 ‘General Rules’ and are submitted for approval prior to manufacture. Manufacturing partnerships are assessed as EXC2 against EN 1090-1.

Mezzanine sections are typically cold-formed lipped ’C’ channels manufactured from S450 (450N/mm²) yield strength material; pre-galvanised coating Z275 – conforming to BS EN 10346.

We offer a range of sizes from 125mm – 300mm up to 3mm thick as standard, greater depths and gauges are available on special order. Ancillary items, brackets, cleats, ties etc. are manufactured to suit the required system to facilitate completion of the mezzanine system. Service holes can be accommodated within the mezzanine sections at manufacturing stage.

The cold formed sections are generally the secondary members in the system with the primary members being Hot Rolled Steel (HRS). Primary structures can be designed in cold formed sections dependent on specific project requirements.
